Indigo was established in 1971. 100% of the shares has since been held by the Bentsen family.

Main business activities over the years

1971 - 1987 Import and wholesale of household items from France, Germany and Sweden to retailers throughout Norway. Activity sold to employee. Max no of employees 5.
1972 - 1988 Assignments for the University in Oslo, servicing their systems for heating, ventilation, water and sewage. Indigo initiated and lead successful program for energy savings. Business taken over by the University itself. Max no of employees 30.

1974 - 1989 Distribution of phone books in Oslo and the surrounding municipalities. Key issues were development and use of new software and hiring of school music teams and sport clubs for short distribution time. Assignment finally lost in competition. More than 2.500 persons were involved in each distribution. Max no of employees 5.

1979 - 1999
The car parking operation business was entered and EuroPark (Norway) was first established. In 1992 EuroPark (Sweden) was founded and EuroPark (Denmark) in 1996. All 100% owned by Indigo. When sold in late 1999, the businesses comprised of appr 500 parking installations in 60 cities throughout Scandinavia. Gross revenue in 1999 was MNOK 630. Max no of employees 500.

1989 - >
Indigo initiated and conducted construction of the Oslo Airport Fornebu garage. (2.400 spaces)

1992 - >
Indigo started investing in real estate. Please see our present engagements in the real estate section.

1996
- > Indigo aquires 95% of the Sentrum garage in Oslo. (1.500 spaces) 50% owner is Inge Steensland AS. Indigo holds 10%.

1998
- > Indigo initiates the construction of the Oslo S and the Asker garages. (1.400 spaces) Indigo holds 15,6% of the shares of the owning company Oslo S Parkering AS, directly and indirerectly. Inge Steensland AS and NSB are the main shareholders.

1999 - >
EuroPark OY was founded and started car parking operations in Helsinki, Finland. Autoparkki OY was established in 2003.

2001
- > Baltic Park AS was founded in a 50 / 50 partnership with Linstow AS. Baltic owns EuroPark in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuenia.

2001
- > Indigo builds the CityPark garage, downtown Drammen, owned 100% by Indigo. (200 spaces) Baltic constructs the underground garage Tartu Mnt in a joint venture with a local partner, downtown Tallinn. Ownership 50%. (300 spaces)

2008
- > Indigo aquires 20% of Lefdalsenteret AS, a development project in the village of Bekkestua with a shopping mall, a garage and apartments sought to be developed.

2009
- > Indigo establishes EuroPark (Poland).
